Relevancy
If the job does not list payroll as a core competency, do not include ten bullet points about payroll. Even if you are proud of it. The hard truth is that many hiring managers and recruiters do not use their imagination. If it is not directly relevant to the role, it likely will not be considered.
Context
"100% YoY growth" means nothing without context. That could mean going from one client to two, or from $100 to $200 in revenue. It is far more impactful to say:
Achieved 100% YoY growth, taking the company from $2,000,000 to $4,000,000 in ARR by doing XYZ.
